Located in Ocala, ReCreate was founded by three friends who share a passion for working with their hands, making meaningful things, and building community through creativity. We believe there is deep value and well-being in producing objects of useful beauty, and our mission reflects that belief in three ways:

• recycling and upcycling art supplies and reusable materials to keep them out of landfills and place them back into the hands of makers at an affordable cost

• creating a welcoming space that encourages creativity for everyone—from experienced artists to those simply looking to explore and create

• supporting and investing in existing artistic endeavors throughout the local community. 

ReCreate is more than a thrift shop—it’s a hub for imagination, sustainability, connection, and creative possibility. 

We give new life to leftover, surplus, and gently used materials by collecting donations from businesses, artists, educators, and households and making them available to the community at affordable prices. At ReCreate, you’ll be able to discover everything from vintage buttons and colorful paper scraps to fabric, paint, home décor samples, craft supplies, and unexpected creative treasures. Instead of sending these materials to the landfill, we will help transform them into art, classroom projects, DIY creations, and imaginative new uses.
